As the owner of Alchemy Decorative Finishes, I would like to introduce myself and share with you some of the exciting new ways to grace the walls of your home with beautiful, original decorative painting. Because faux finishing provides a unique custom design element, the artists at Alchemy Decorative Finishes are able to accent, accentuate and compliment the décor, as well as enhance the personality, mood, look or energy of a room.

My background as a fiber and textile artist, and painter enables me to bring different elements of texture, richness and depth to your home. I contract with homebuilders, interior decorators and home owners.

An initial consultation is provided at no fee inside the New York area. Clients are shown faux finish samples of a project for approval prior to the initiation of the project. Each project is custom; therefore the fees per project are based individually on the size of the project, the time needed to complete the project, complexity of technique and materials needed.

With the exception of certain projects, murals, which can be painted on canvas and installed, most of the work is hand painted on site. Therefore the client’s comfort is greatly considered and each project is completed in a timely fashion.
